The Spanish Princess is a fresh take on the life of Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII’s first wife — from her point of view. To draw in a diverse community of viewers, we bridged the gap between the old and the modern with a sumptuous visual style and a focus on woman-forward content. We used the visual language we developed through countdowns, character pieces, quote cards and many other assets covering the entire social campaign. We created several pieces of content to target more specific audiences: a stylized stop-motion video connecting the British Royals to the Tudors in Catherine’s era, as well as producing two custom DIY embroidery videos highlighting empowering phrases from the series.
